Marin Sejagat Sdn Bhd is a specialized engineering service provider that supports the operational integrity of the oil, gas, and maritime sectors. Established in 2010, the company was founded to address specific technical gaps in the local industry, particularly the growing demand for expert maintenance of boilers and heat exchangers. Over the years, it has evolved from a niche maintenance outfit into a comprehensive service contractor, holding significant credentials including licenses from Petronas and the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), and operating as a Bumiputera-status entity.
The company’s operations are deeply integrated into the maritime and offshore supply chain, where it focuses on extending the lifecycle and efficiency of critical assets. A primary pillar of its service portfolio is industrial cleaning, which encompasses the maintenance of ship hulls, superstructures, vessels, and internal piping systems. These services are vital for marine vessels and offshore platforms that require regular removal of biofouling and sludge to maintain hydrodynamic efficiency and structural safety. Additionally, the firm provides specialized corrosion prevention and thermal insulation services, addressing the persistent challenges posed by harsh, saline marine environments.
Technical capabilities at the organization extend to advanced fabrication and mechanical support. The company is notable for its deployment of cold cutting technology, a safety-critical method that utilizes high-pressure water and abrasives to cut metal without generating heat or sparks. This capability is particularly valuable in the volatile atmospheres of offshore production facilities and floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) units, where traditional hot work carries unacceptable risks. The firm also executes complex retubing projects and heat exchanger maintenance, ensuring that the power and propulsion systems of marine assets function without interruption.
Serving a roster of prominent clients including national energy bodies and international oil majors, the enterprise emphasizes strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards. Its growth is driven by a philosophy encapsulated in its corporate motto, Your Challenge Is Our Mission. By combining local engineering expertise with specialized equipment supply and fabrication capabilities, Marin Sejagat Sdn Bhd fulfills a reliable support role within the Malaysian energy and marine infrastructure ecosystem.
