Torlak Shipyard

Torlak Shipyard is a shipbuilding and ship repair yard in the Tuzla shipyards district of Istanbul. The operating legal entity is Torlak Denizcilik San. ve Tic. A.S., and the yard trades as Torlak Shipyard. Docking is done in a floating dock, with docking capacity given as up to 42,000 deadweight tonnes. Two different starting dates for that work stand on the record and neither is set aside here: the yard's repair page dates docking and repair from the arrival of its floating dock in 2004, while a news item of 13 August 2024 puts the start of docking operations at 16 January 2024.
