Seatrium Shipyard

Seatrium Subic Shipyard, Inc. is a repair and offshore yard at Cabangaan Point, Barangay Cawag, in the Subic Shipyard Special Economic Zone in Zambales, on the west coast of Luzon. It was Keppel Subic Shipyard, Inc. until the 2023 merger of Keppel Offshore & Marine and Sembcorp Marine created Seatrium, and the Philippine licensing register now carries the new name with the former one beside it; the group itself lists the site simply as Subic. The company owns rather than leases its facilities, holds a yard area of 170,000 square metres and is 99 per cent foreign owned. It holds a Philippine Class A shipbuilding and ship repair licence, the class covering ships of 130 metres length overall and above, valid to 28 September 2030. Its graving dock is rated at 550,000 dwt and takes more than one vessel at a time, and a gantry crane of 1,500 tonnes serves the yard. Current work is drydocking, repair and LNG carrier upgrading. As of March 2026 the workforce was 44 permanent and 47 contractual technical staff, 238 permanent and 255 contractual skilled workers, 38 managerial and 66 administrative employees.
