Samkang S&C Co., Ltd.

Samkang S&C Co., Ltd. is a South Korean yard at Donghae-myeon in Goseong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do. It runs three lines of business: newbuilding, ship repair and remodelling, and offshore plant work. Docking capacity is a single very large floating dock, big enough to serve newbuilding and heavy repair or conversion out of the same facility, with two outfitting quays alongside it. Newbuilding covers large tankers, bulk carriers, container ships and gas carriers. The repair and remodelling line is presented with its own facilities and specialities, and the offshore plant line with its own project record. Repair enquiries are handled through the related company SK Oceanplant. A separate technical training centre is run at Donghae-myeon, and the company maintains an HSE management policy covering safety, health, environment and ethical management.
