PaxOcean Zhoushan

PaxOcean Zhoushan, the legal entity PaxOcean Engineering Zhoushan Co., Ltd., occupies an 800,000 square metre site at Changbai in the Dinghai district of Zhoushan, Zhejiang. Operations began in 2011. The operator describes it as a repair yard, working on the repair, conversion and upgrade of merchant ships and offshore units. The two graving docks are named Central and West. They are built for all types of VLCC, VLOC, OBO, Suezmax and FPSO up to 400,000 DWT and for container ships up to 24,000 TEU. There is 12 metres of water at the pier berth, and the heaviest lift on site is a 900 tonne crane. A 26,000 cubic metre floating storage and regasification unit was delivered at Zhoushan in 2018. PaxOcean is a member of the Kuok Group. Its first yard was acquired in Guangdong in 2007 and all of the group's yards were rebranded under the PaxOcean name in 2014; besides Zhoushan it runs facilities in Singapore and on Batam in Indonesia.
