Nosco Shipyard

Nosco Shipyard, previously branded Ha Long Dockyard, is a Vietnamese repair yard at Lien Hoa in Quang Yen, Quang Ninh province. It takes vessels of up to 80,000 DWT. There is no dry dock in service: ships are raised on a ship lifting platform and transferred to a row of dry berths ashore, with repair berthing alongside. A graving dock is planned to enter service in 2027. Beyond routine steel renewal, coating, piping and machinery work, two specialised lines are sold. Conversion covers lengthening, shortening and changing a hull between tanker and bulk carrier. Retrofit work covers ballast water treatment systems and exhaust gas scrubbers. A tug and berthing service is run alongside the yard work. The quality system is built to classification society rules, and the yard holds ISO 14001:2015 issued by Bureau Veritas as well as ISO 9001. In July 2026 it recorded 365 consecutive days without a safety incident.
