Lloyd Werft Bremerhaven GmbH works in the Ueberseehafen at Bremerhaven on the German North Sea coast, on a site of more than 260,000 square metres. It is a company of the Heinrich Roenner group. The business is specialised shipbuilding, conversion and repair of passenger ships and prototype vessels, together with newbuilding and refit of yachts. Development and design are done in house, on integrated 3D software. Three docks are the yard's own: Kaiserdock 1, Kaiserdock 2 and Floating Dock 3. Between them and the workshops the yard builds and converts ships of more than 300 metres. Kaiserdock 1 has two cranes lifting up to 35 tonnes, Kaiserdock 2 two lifting up to 50 tonnes, and Floating Dock 3 four lifting up to 60 tonnes. A fourth dock offered on the same docks page, Floating Dock 6, belongs to the sister company BREDO DRY DOCKS and stands at a separate Bremerhaven site, so it is not a facility of this yard. The yard is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, and works with its own assembly capacity, equipped workshops, integrated logistics and a network of partner companies.
