Jiangnan Shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd. builds ships at Shanghai and is a member company of China State Shipbuilding Corporation. Ship repair is not an advertised line. Six liquefied natural gas carriers of 175,000 cubic metres each have been delivered to ADNOC Logistics & Services under a fleet order placed in 2022 and worth 1.2 billion US dollars. The sixth of them, Al Taweelah, was handed over at Shanghai in April 2026. The yard also built the lead ship of a series of 7,600-car LNG dual-fuel car carriers for SAIC Anji Logistics, named and sent to sea in January 2024 and at that point the largest LNG dual-fuel ro-ro vessel in service by capacity.
