Guangzhou Shipyard International Company Limited

Guangzhou Shipyard International builds and repairs ships on Longxue Island in the Nansha district of Guangzhou, near the mouth of the Pearl River. The company is part of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, and its listed parent has traded as CSSC Offshore and Marine Engineering (Group) Company Limited since 2015. Newbuilding and repair share the one site. Two building docks are rated at 400,000 dwt and two repair docks at 300,000 dwt, with two building platforms of 50,000 dwt beside them, and the five main piers take vessels of 300,000 dwt. Shipbuilding at the company's original Liwan yard in central Guangzhou ended when the move to Nansha was completed in 2018, and Longxue Island is now the main plant. A second and smaller plant operates at Zhongshan in Guangdong.
