Based in the Pacific Northwest, this organization manages the logistical requirements of vessels entering and departing regional waterways. Talon Marine Services acts as a central point of contact for ship owners, charterers, and operators, ensuring that port-related activities follow local and international regulations. The agency oversees essential husbandry tasks such as coordinating crew changes, arranging for bunkers, and managing the delivery of ship stores and spare parts. By facilitating communication between the vessel and local authorities, the firm assists with compliance for customs and border protection. This includes the preparation and submission of necessary documentation for cargo clearance and port entry.
The primary scope of work covers major maritime hubs in Washington state, including Seattle, Tacoma, and Everett. Additional attendance is provided at specialized terminals in Anacortes, Port Angeles, and Bellingham, supporting a diverse range of maritime traffic from commercial shipping to private industrial fleets. Professional standards are maintained through active participation in industry-recognized organizations. Talon Marine Services is a certified member of the Association of Ship Brokers and Agents (USA) Inc., adhering to the ethical and operational standards set by the national maritime community. This affiliation reflects the application of standardized agency practices throughout every vessel call.
Beyond port attendance, the team assists with technical logistics, medical appointments for crew members, and coordination with local pilots and tug services to facilitate transit through Puget Sound and surrounding coastal waters. This approach to ship agency ensures that port calls are managed according to technical requirements while meeting specific local administrative needs. The firm maintains consistent communication with all stakeholders to monitor the progress of cargo operations and vessel movements within the United States.
