Zhoushan Qiuzhen NDT Co., Ltd. is a non-destructive testing and marine safety service contractor based in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, serving vessels at the Zhoushan, Ningbo-Zhoushan, Liuheng, Putuo and Daishan anchorages and at major repair yards in the East China Sea cluster. The workshop combines a conventional NDT laboratory with life-saving, fire-safety and radio-servicing capability, allowing a single attendance to cover several class-related items. The NDT scope covers ultrasonic, magnetic particle, dye-penetrant and radiographic examination of welds and structural members, ultrasonic thickness gauging for class-renewal surveys, ultrasonic hatch cover tightness testing on bulk-carrier and general-cargo hatch covers, watertight integrity verification of doors and penetrations and class-accepted underwater hull inspection coordinated with approved diving partners. Life-saving and fire-fighting scope covers periodical servicing of inflatable liferafts, lifeboats, rescue boats, davits and launching appliances, hydrostatic release units, lifebuoys, portable extinguishers, fire hoses and hydrants and breathing-apparatus EEBD and SCBA sets, together with lifting appliance and gear surveys. Radio and navigation work includes VDR and S-VDR annual performance tests, GMDSS annual testing, GMDSS equipment service and AIS annual inspection. Qiuzhen NDT is recognised by China Classification Society, RINA, ABS, Bureau Veritas, DNV and the Polish Register of Shipping (PRS) as a service supplier under the relevant categories, allowing reports issued at Zhoushan to be used directly for class surveys. NDT technicians hold Level II qualifications under recognised certification schemes such as ISO 9712 or SNT-TC-1A, and equipment is calibrated against traceable reference blocks before each campaign. Reports are issued in IACS-aligned formats with traceable inspector signatures, photographic evidence and clear acceptance criteria so that class surveyors can review and witness the work directly without rework.
