Weihai Outlook Marine Technical Services Co., Ltd is a marine technical services contractor based in Weihai, Shandong Province, serving vessels calling at Weihai Port, Yantai, Penglai, Longkou, Rongcheng, Shidao and other northern Yellow Sea terminals. The workshop is focused on hull-survey, tightness and SOLAS-mandated periodical work performed during port stays and short voyage-repair stops. The technical scope covers hull ultrasonic thickness gauging campaigns delivered with class-acceptable digital ultrasonic equipment and reported in standard IACS-format spreadsheets keyed to the vessel's strake and block plan, ultrasonic hatch cover tightness testing on bulk-carrier and general-cargo hatch covers, and watertight integrity verification of doors, penetrations and weather-deck closures. Life-saving and fire-fighting scope covers periodical servicing of inflatable liferafts, lifeboats, rescue boats, hydrostatic release units, lifebuoys, portable extinguishers, fire hoses and hydrants and breathing-apparatus EEBD and SCBA sets. Outlook Marine is recognised by ABS, Bureau Veritas and Korean Register as a service supplier under the relevant thickness-measurement, tightness-testing, LSA and FFE categories, allowing reports and certificates issued at Weihai to be used for SOLAS-mandated annual, intermediate and five-yearly surveys on merchant tonnage flagged with administrations that recognise these IACS members. Field response is coordinated from the Weihai base across the northern Shandong coastal port stations during cargo operations and short voyage-repair stays, so owners can complete class items without dedicated drydock time. Field attendance is scheduled around cargo operations and short port stays so that owners and managers can close hull-renewal, special and intermediate survey items without dedicated drydock time, supporting voyage-by-voyage compliance with class and statutory periodicities.
