Suzhou Falab Test Technology Co., Ltd., also operating in the maritime market under the Huabi Maritime brand, is a third-party ship-inspection laboratory headquartered in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, supporting vessels at the Yangtze River Delta cluster of Suzhou-Taicang, Zhangjiagang, Nantong, Shanghai-Waigaoqiao, Yangshan and other regional ports. The technical scope is centred on environmental and material testing services that complement classification-society surveys, with the principal service lines covering ballast water management system commissioning tests to IMO D-2 standards, ballast water indicative and detailed sampling on operational voyages, exhaust gas scrubber wash-water sampling under MEPC.259(68), Inventory of Hazardous Materials sampling and documentation under the Hong Kong Convention and the EU Ship Recycling Regulation, and pressure vessel inspection on cargo and machinery-space equipment. Class-acceptable underwater hull inspection is coordinated through approved diving partners for in-water surveys recognised by class. Falab operates accredited laboratories under CNAS and CMA scopes and has joined the China Shipowners Association as a member unit. The firm has been qualified as a recognised supplier for ballast water testing and hazardous-substance testing by international classification societies including ABS, DNV, Lloyd's Register, ClassNK, China Classification Society, RINA, Bureau Veritas and Korean Register, as well as by relevant flag administrations. Reports issued from the Suzhou laboratory are accepted for statutory and class purposes on merchant tonnage trading through eastern China. Field attendance is scheduled around cargo operations and short port stays so that owners and managers can close hull-renewal, special and intermediate survey items without dedicated drydock time, supporting voyage-by-voyage compliance with class and statutory periodicities.
