Survitec Safety Solutions China Co., Ltd. is the Chinese operating company of Survitec Group, a global safety equipment manufacturer and service provider with more than one hundred and sixty years of technical heritage in survival and protection technology. The Chinese arm forms part of the Survitec worldwide liferaft service network, the largest in the industry, and supports merchant shipping with periodic servicing of life-saving and fire-fighting appliances at the major Chinese ports, with the registered office in Zhoushan and operational reach into Shanghai, Ningbo, Qingdao and Tianjin. Service stations and authorised technicians carry out annual servicing of Survitec, Zodiac, RFD, DSB and other inflatable liferafts under SOLAS, MSC.81(70) and MSC.218(82), inflatable lifejacket and immersion suit inspections, and lifeboat and rescue boat servicing including davit and on-load release gear overhauls in line with MSC.402(96). Fire-fighting work covers portable extinguisher recharging, fire hose and hydrant testing, and EEBD and SCBA breathing apparatus maintenance including hydrostatic cylinder testing at five-yearly intervals. Hydrostatic release units are tested or replaced as required, and pressure vessel inspection is provided on extinguishers and SCBA cylinders. The company is recognised as a service supplier by Bureau Veritas, Lloyd's Register and Korean Register, ensuring that its servicing certificates are accepted for statutory and class surveys, while its lifting appliance and gear survey capability supports SOLAS and ILO 152 cargo-handling equipment requirements on a wide range of tonnage trading through Bohai Bay, the Yangtze River Delta and southern Chinese ports. The Chinese arm of Survitec coordinates technicians, spares and consumable stock with regional warehouses to ensure consistent turnaround times for routine and exchange-raft servicing across Chinese ports throughout the year.
