With fueling facilities in Windsor, Hamilton, and Sarnia, the company supports both local and international vessels with dockside and in-port delivery solutions. At their Windsor terminal, Sterling Fuels offers marine diesel oil (MDO), marine gas oil (MGO), and various IFO grades via dock, pipeline, and truck. This location also acts as a distribution hub for ExxonMobil bulk marine engine oils, as well as packaged lubricants from both ExxonMobil and Klüber. Additional services include water supply, waste removal, and coordination of crew changes. Their Hamilton location services vessels from Hamilton Harbour to Toronto and the Welland Canal, offering MDO, MGO, and IFO fuel grades via barge. In addition, Sterling provides truck delivery throughout Ontario and distributes lubricants in both bulk and packaged formats. The company’s third location in Sarnia operates at the Imperial Oil dock, where pipeline delivery of marine fuels is supported alongside flexible lubricant supply options. This location also handles select logistical services for vessels in port. Sterling Fuels has recently taken steps toward sustainable marine energy with the development of a biofuel made primarily from recycled vegetable oils. The new blend has already been tested and delivered to several vessels operated by Canada Steamship Lines (CSL), showing the company’s commitment to cleaner alternatives without compromising performance.
