Seatech (Shenzhen) Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. is a marine safety service contractor based in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, serving vessels calling at the Pearl River Delta ports of Shenzhen-Yantian, Shekou, Chiwan, Mawan, Guangzhou-Nansha, Huangpu, Zhuhai-Gaolan, Dongguan, Foshan and the Hong Kong anchorages. The workshop is built around the SOLAS scope for life-saving and fire-fighting equipment together with lifting and pressure-vessel work performed during port stays and short repair stops. Periodical servicing is provided for inflatable liferafts, conventional and totally enclosed lifeboats, rescue boats, davits and launching appliances, hydrostatic release units, immersion suits, lifejackets and lifebuoys, together with portable-extinguisher recharging and hydrostatic testing, performance checks on fixed CO2, foam and water-spray installations, fire hose and hydrant pressure testing and breathing-apparatus servicing for EEBD and SCBA sets. Class-related work includes lifting appliance and gear surveys covering deck cranes, provision cranes, gangway ladders and accommodation winches in accordance with the relevant class and ILO loading-test requirements, and pressure vessel inspection on cargo and machinery-space equipment including air bottles, hydrophore tanks and CO2 cylinders. Seatech Marine Engineering is recognised by ABS, Bureau Veritas and Lloyd's Register as a service supplier under the relevant LSA, FFE, lifting and pressure-vessel categories, allowing inspection reports issued at Shenzhen to be used for SOLAS-mandated annual, intermediate and five-yearly surveys on merchant tonnage flagged with administrations that recognise these IACS members. Coordination between LSA, FFE and class-related work scopes is handled from one work order so multiple periodical items can be closed during a single port call, reducing off-hire time for owners and managers. Spare parts for liferaft canisters, lifeboat release-hooks, hydrostatic release units, extinguisher refills, EEBD and SCBA composite cylinders and CO2 control-station components are held in workshop stock, allowing immediate replacement of expired or non-compliant items at the time of inspection.
