Ningbo Yonghang Fire Equipment was established in 1998 in Jishigang Town, Haishu District of Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, as an independent joint-stock enterprise focused on marine fire protection. The firm holds a registered capital of ten million RMB and runs a workshop covering roughly two thousand square metres within a site of about five thousand square metres. Its workforce numbers around twenty-five people, including three managers and five technical specialists who handle research, design, manufacture, training and after-sales maintenance under one roof. The product range spans more than thirty items across four series. It includes marine carbon dioxide fire extinguishing systems, CO2 high-pressure hoses, pressure and balanced foam proportional mixing devices, fire monitors, air-foam guns, fixed local water-based fire extinguishing systems, heptafluoropropane suppression systems, dry powder systems and water spray systems for engine room and cargo applications. The same workshop also services portable extinguishers, foam units and CO2 cylinders during periodic survey rounds for vessels calling at Zhejiang ports. Type approvals and factory certificates have been issued by Bureau Veritas, Lloyd's Register and DNV, and EC type approval covers the fixed local water-based fire extinguishing system. The output of Yonghang serves shipyards, owners and managers operating bulk carriers, container ships and coastal traders along the Yangtze and East China coast.
