Jiangyinshi Beihai LSA Co., Ltd., commonly abbreviated as JYBH, was founded in 2000 in Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province, with its plant on Beihuan Road in Yuecheng Town. The company is dedicated to the design, development, manufacture, sale and after-sales service of life-saving appliances for the merchant shipping market, with parallel capability in high-performance and surface unmanned boats for special-purpose users. Production lines build a comprehensive range of FRP lifeboats, including totally enclosed lifeboats, partially enclosed lifeboats, open-type lifeboats, free-fall lifeboats, conventional rescue boats, fast rescue boats and inflatable-fender rescue boats, supported by an in-house mould shop and finishing facility. Associated launching equipment is engineered and built in parallel, covering gravity davits, slewing davits, free-fall davit systems and winches matched to each boat type, allowing complete IMO LSA Code packages to be supplied as integrated assemblies. JYBH's life-saving appliances are approved by a broad set of classification societies, including CCS, ABS, ClassNK, Bureau Veritas, Lloyd's Register, DNV, Korean Register, RINA and the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, and comply with SOLAS 1996, the LSA Code and IMO Resolution MSC.81(70) test requirements. In addition to newbuild supply, Beihai LSA performs lifting appliance and lifting gear surveys, periodic inspection, overhaul and load testing of lifeboats, davits and on-load release gear in accordance with IMO MSC.402(96) and MSC/Circ.1206, with engineers dispatched to shipyards and ports in China and across Asia.
