Iliadis Bros Corp is a specialized technical firm based in Greece that focuses on the distribution, support, and maintenance of air compression systems. Operating from its facilities in Paiania, Attica, the company has established a distinct presence within the country’s robust industrial and shipping clusters. It functions primarily as a representative and supplier of high-performance compressor technologies, serving a diverse client base that ranges from heavy industry and defense forces to the merchant marine and yachting sectors.
The organization’s commercial lineage traces back to the 1930s, originating as a trading enterprise in Istanbul before relocating its operations to Athens in 1955. Over the subsequent decades, the family-owned business refined its commercial focus, formally incorporating under its current identity in 1990. While the company initially built a strong reputation in the diving equipment market, it executed a strategic pivot in 1995. This shift concentrated its resources on representing major European manufacturers of high-pressure air systems, effectively transitioning from a general trading house to a specialized technical partner for critical infrastructure.
In the maritime domain, Iliadis Bros Corp addresses the unique and demanding requirements of vessels operating at sea. Acknowledging that ships function as self-sufficient units where equipment failure is not an option, the firm supplies systems designed for extreme reliability. A core component of their maritime offering involves breathing air compressors, which are essential for onboard safety operations, including firefighting teams and diving support. These systems ensure that crew members have access to purified, breathable air in hazardous environments, complying with the rigorous safety standards enforced by international classification societies.
Beyond safety applications, the company provides technical solutions for low, medium, and high-pressure applications required for general shipboard operations, naval defense vessels, and luxury yachts. Their involvement in the sector is evidenced by their active engagement with the Greek shipping community and participation in major maritime exhibitions. While deeply rooted in the marine market, Iliadis Bros Corp also services land-based industries, supporting sectors such as energy, paintball, and industrial manufacturing with the same emphasis on pneumatic power and air quality. Through this dual focus on sea and land applications, the company supports the operational continuity of critical machinery and safety equipment across the Aegean and beyond.
