HongTek Maritime Co., Ltd. is based in Zhoushan, an island-based Zhejiang Province city that forms the eastern half of the combined Ningbo-Zhoushan port complex, the world's busiest port by cargo throughput, with major crude, bulk, container and ship-repair facilities spread across the Cezi, Liuheng, Daxie and surrounding islands of the archipelago. The firm provides on-board technical attendance covering radio-survey and non-destructive testing scopes for commercial vessels calling Zhoushan-area berths and the surrounding anchorages used for crew change, bunkering and routine maintenance during ordinary commercial calls. The radio-survey practice covers GMDSS annual testing on MF/HF and VHF radio installations, EPIRBs, SARTs and NAVTEX receivers, with battery load tests, antenna checks and operational verification performed in accordance with SOLAS chapter IV requirements and the relevant ITU regulations. Additional radio scopes cover GMDSS equipment maintenance and AIS annual inspection with verification of static and dynamic data on shipborne installations including transponders and pilot plug arrangements. Non-destructive testing covers ultrasonic, magnetic-particle, dye-penetrant and visual examination of welds and structural members on tonnage in repair, with reports prepared by qualified technicians in formats accepted by attending classification surveyors. HongTek holds service supplier recognition by the China Classification Society, allowing radio and NDT records to be considered during periodical, intermediate and special surveys on commercial tonnage trading through the East China Sea and calling Ningbo-Zhoushan terminals and the surrounding archipelago anchorages used by ocean-going vessels. The team is supported by a workshop with spare-part stock, calibrated test instruments and dedicated GMDSS bench equipment for component repairs and bench testing, with field engineers dispatched at short notice to support owners and ship managers during short-stay commercial port calls.
