CSSC Jiujiang Fire Equipment Co., Ltd. is a Jiujiang-based marine fire-fighting equipment manufacturer and service provider within the China State Shipbuilding Corporation network. The Jiangxi facility produces fire extinguishing equipment, associated fittings, and supporting components for merchant ships, naval vessels, and offshore installations, drawing on a long fire-protection manufacturing history in Jiujiang where local production of fire equipment dates back to 1993.
Product and service activity for the maritime industry centres on periodical fire-fighting equipment testing, recharge and hydrostatic retest of portable CO2, foam, dry-powder, and water extinguishers, supply and overhaul of shipboard fixed CO2 fire-fighting systems, fire hose and hydrant testing, fire-protection valve supply and inspection, and accessories such as aluminium alloy valves, automatic sprinkler heads, and back pressure valves. The team also supports breathing apparatus, EEBD and SCBA periodic checks, personal protective equipment supply, and fire rescue equipment maintenance for shipboard service.
Production is delivered under China Classification Society type approval and the IMO Marine Equipment Directive scheme, with cross-recognition arrangements applied by Bureau Veritas, the American Bureau of Shipping, DNV, Lloyd's Register, ClassNK, the Korean Register of Shipping, and RINA where required by shipowner specifications. Testing and certification documentation is structured for review by attending classification society surveyors so that records meet flag-state and class regimes. The Jiujiang plant supplies the wider CSSC newbuilding programme alongside aftermarket service at northern, eastern, and southern Chinese ports through the parent group service network.
