COSCO Shipping (Qingdao) Electronics Co., Ltd. is a Qingdao-based marine electronics and communication service company within the COSCO Shipping group. The Shandong office supports merchant tonnage, offshore vessels, and shipyards calling at Qingdao, Yantai, Weihai, Rizhao, and the wider Bohai and Yellow Sea port cluster with installation, commissioning, periodic testing, and repair of bridge electronics, radio equipment, and shipboard pressure-retaining components, working as part of the broader COSCO Shipping International fleet-supply network.
Field service capability covers Global Maritime Distress and Safety System annual performance testing, GMDSS equipment service, AIS annual inspection, EPIRB and SART verification, and Voyage Data Recorder and Simplified VDR annual performance testing. Technicians work to IMO performance standards and SOLAS Chapters IV and V, and deliver reports formatted for review by attending classification society surveyors.
