China Classification Society Industrial Corporation is a Beijing-headquartered Chinese industrial inspection, supervision, evaluation, and certification company established in 1993 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Classification Society. Operating from a central office in Dongcheng District and a network of twenty-two branches across mainland China, the corporation supports merchant shipowners, offshore operators, energy companies, infrastructure asset owners, and shipyards with technical services that span ship and marine engineering, green and intelligent ship newbuild supervision, offshore wind power certification, energy engineering review, and large bridge engineering inspection.
Marine service work delivered by the CCSI network includes hull ultrasonic thickness gauging, hatch cover ultrasonic tightness testing, watertight integrity testing, pressure vessel inspection, non-destructive testing, underwater inspection, lifting appliance and gear survey, davit and launching appliance examination, and lifeboat, rescue boat, and liferaft servicing. Life-saving and fire-fighting capability covers periodic LSA and FFE testing, fire extinguisher recharge, fixed CO2, foam, and water-spray system inspection, fire hose and hydrant testing, and breathing apparatus, EEBD, and SCBA maintenance. The team employs more than one thousand professional and technical specialists supporting these activities across the country.
As the industrial services arm of China Classification Society, the corporation works in direct alignment with CCS technical rules and statutory survey practice, and field deliverables are also recognised under DNV, ClassNK, the American Bureau of Shipping, and the Korean Register of Shipping for routine ship survey work. The nationwide footprint allows shipowners and offshore operators to coordinate periodic survey, post-repair verification, and newbuild quality assurance across most major Chinese ports through a single technical interface.
