China Certification & Inspection Group Fujian Co., Ltd. is the Fujian arm of CCIC, the national independent inspection, verification, certification, and testing organisation founded in 1980. Headquartered in Fuzhou with branches at the principal coastal ports of the province, the operation supports merchant shipowners, ship managers, shipyards, and cargo interests with inspection and certification work that covers vessel operations, product trade, and asset condition reporting across Fuzhou, Xiamen, Quanzhou, Ningde, and adjacent terminals.
Marine service activity centres on inventory of hazardous materials and asbestos survey work, prepared in line with the Hong Kong International Convention for the Safe and Environmentally Sound Recycling of Ships and the European Union Ship Recycling Regulation. CCIC Fujian inspectors carry out shipboard sampling, laboratory analysis of paint, gasket, insulation, and machinery components, and prepare IHM Part I dossiers for existing ships in operation, IHM Part II and Part III documentation as part of the ship recycling preparation sequence, and supporting certification work. The Fujian laboratory network handles minerals, petroleum, chemicals, foodstuff, and automotive testing, which gives the marine division access to a broad analytical platform under one organisation.
Quality is supported by accreditation to ISO/IEC 17020 by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment, and inspection deliverables are recognised by the American Bureau of Shipping and Bureau Veritas for routine class survey use. CCIC Fujian operates as part of a national CCIC organisation that includes over three hundred branches, two hundred cooperative laboratories, sixteen thousand employees, and reach into more than twenty countries, which lets shipowners coordinate consistent inventory and hazardous-materials reporting across multiple Chinese ports of call.
