Chasing Technology (Changxing) Co., Ltd. is a Chinese manufacturer of high-pressure seamless gas cylinders and pressure-retaining equipment, located in Taihu Street of Changxing County in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. The plant supplies industrial gas cylinders, compressed natural gas cylinders for vehicles and transportation, breathing gas cylinders, medical gas cylinders, and dedicated marine fire suppression cylinders used aboard merchant ships and offshore units, and offers inspection and quality-assurance services across its manufactured equipment range.
Marine-relevant product and service activity focuses on pressure vessel inspection and in-water survey support for shipboard fire-fighting and life-support systems. The workshop produces CO2 cylinders for portable extinguishers and for fixed automatic CO2 fire-fighting installations on ships, alongside breathing-air cylinders used with self-contained breathing apparatus, emergency escape breathing devices, and diving equipment. Inspection deliverables cover hydrostatic and pneumatic testing, non-destructive examination, visual and dimensional checks, periodic retest and re-stamping work, and pressure-vessel documentation review prepared for classification society surveyors and flag-state inspectors.
Production is carried out under CE, BV, LR, ABS, DNV, and CCS approval, alongside international design and manufacturing codes ISO 11439, ISO 9809, and UN ECE R110. Development work covers aluminium and composite cylinders engineered for hydrogen service at 350 bar and 700 bar working pressure, supporting the emerging alternative fuel programmes for vessels and port equipment. The Changxing location gives shipowners and equipment integrators access to certified pressure cylinder supply within the Yangtze Delta industrial cluster, with road and rail connections to Shanghai, Ningbo, and the wider eastern China port belt.
