Astrolabe Engineering

Astrolabe Engineering is an Athens-based engineering consultancy, active since 2002 in land surveying and, since 2005, in 3D laser scanning and point cloud modelling. In the marine sector we have carried out 3D laser scanning and/or point cloud processing and modelling on some 700 vessels of every type, yachts among them, supporting refits, retrofits and new equipment installations with accurate as-built data. Our survey teams attend vessels at shipyards and ports or embark as riding teams, so that data capture fits around vessel schedules, while our in-house engineers deliver registered point clouds in various file formats, ready for design and fabrication. Our Quality Management System is certified to ELOT EN ISO 9001:2015.
